The Library Fairy ® storytelling program was founded by an established children’s educator and performer with one mission: to promote literacy, diversity and self-esteem in children through the dynamic art of storytelling. Our multi-media approach brings words, fluency and cultural identity alive!  A new generation of story listeners will gain access to folklore from around the world.  Captivating, interactive tales are performed from rich, diverse heritages: Latin America, Asia, Africa, India, Hawaii, Russia, Ireland, France, Sweden, England, Native American and more.

Children are also guided to discover stories from their family and ancestors, breathing life into the lost oral traditions of family and culture. This creates an indelible connection between stories and their lives.

The popularity and need for our storytelling program has grown in leaps and bounds and we need your help. We need a bridge-- a bridge that brings us to children who do not have access to the power of story.

With income and poverty levels directly affecting the national literacy rate, our children need exposure to oral rich environments to aid their literacy skills. With English as a second language for many, our children need innovative and proven language tools to help them. With an unprecedented access to tons of technology, our kids need a pure link to themselves and the world to promote their emotional development and self esteem. Our program accomplishes all of these in the most fun and meaningful way.

Storytelling in its purity passes on powerful lessons, literacy and links to our past. In telling and retelling these stories children gain communication skills, imagination and confidence. Storytelling teaches and reaches children in a way they never forget

Our next generation needs a bridge:
a powerful link to themselves and the world.

We can build it!
